Made in the USA, the new Shockwave™ Impact Duty™ Step Bits are designed to deliver best-in-class performance in impact drivers and the versatility to be used in drills. The combination of an optimized SHOCKZONE™ shank, Titanium Aluminum Nitride coating, and Rapid Strike™ tip make these step bits the longest-lasting and fastest-cutting impact step bits available.

Designed to deliver maximum life, each step bit is optimized with a ¼” hex shank and SHOCKZONE™ to absorb torque in all applications. Together these features provide the industry’s most durable shank, helping to eliminate premature shank failure. A Titanium Aluminum Nitride (TiAlN) coating across the entire geometry of the bit also helps deliver 5x longer life.

Recognizing that many step bits fail at the tip, Milwaukee® designed these bits with a Rapid Strike™ tip to prevent walking and deliver fast, accurate starts that generate less heat. This Rapid Strike™ tip, paired with a dual spiral flute design, allow the bits to produce 2X faster holes. 

For user convenience and accuracy, each bit also has laser-engraved reference marks that are easily visible while drilling.
