True to all M18 FUEL™ solutions, the new M18 FUEL™ Drill Driver, Hammer Drill, and Impact Driver combine three exclusive innovations – the POWERSTATE™ brushless motor, REDLITHIUM™ battery pack, and REDLINK PLUS™ intelligence. However, to deliver these ground-breaking drilling and fastening solutions, Milwaukee® reengineered the motor and electronics packages to deliver seamless communication with the battery and the best performance catered to these tools and their applications.

Milwaukee® created brand-new POWERSTATE™ brushless motors for these drilling and fastening solutions. These motors pack more overall power in the smallest footprint to date. Milwaukee® also redesigned from the ground-up the REDLINK PLUS™ Intelligence featured in these tools, drastically reducing the size of these sophisticated electronics to save space and increase thermal capacity and communication between the tool, motor, and battery. Both drill and impact mechanisms have been optimized to deliver this incredible raw power in the smallest package possible.

M18 FUEL™ 1/2" Drill/Driver & Hammer Drill

 The new M18 FUEL™ ½” Drill/Driver and M18 FUEL™ ½” Hammer Drill generate up to 60% more power than the leading drills and hammer drills available on the market today. Each delivers 1,200 in-lbs of torque and drills up to 2X faster in high speed, making them ideal for the most demanding applications and allowing for greater productivity on the jobsite. Even better, Milwaukee® could accomplish all of this with tools that are 1.5” shorter than the leading competitors, giving users unparalleled access into tight spaces. For added durability and utility, both products also feature new industry-leading chucks with black oxide jaws and an updated sleeve knurl pattern for superior bit retention.

M18 FUEL™ 1/4” Hex Impact Driver

The M18 FUEL™ 1/4” Hex Impact Driver is the fastest impact driver in the industry, delivering 0-3,600 RPM to drive screws up to 30% faster. This tool also puts out 2,000in-lbs of torque providing up to 25% more power to complete the most demanding screw applications. This means users will be able to not only get work done faster, but complete a wider range of fastening applications. All of this performance is packed into a new impact driver that measures 3/4” shorter in length than the previous generation. The tool is designed with a four-mode DRIVE CONTROL™ feature, providing users the versatility to switch between modes to match the power and speed for the wide range of user needs. A newly improved Self-Tapping Screw Mode shuts the tool off once a screw is seated to reduce overdriving, breaking, and stripping out screws.

In late 2018 Milwaukee® will also introduce versions of the new M18 FUEL™ 1/2” Drill/Driver, 1/2” Hammer Drill, and 1/4” Hex Impact Driver with ONE-KEY™ compatibility.
